HOW IT ALL STARTED
Hi, I’m Leila!
In 2007 — after several years working in weddings and events — I launched the world’s first full-service wedding public relations agency after recognizing a gap between the industry’s dazzling talent and the lack of press coverage on their businesses. Be Inspired PR pioneered the explosion of media interest in wedding professionals and bridal brands, which helped grow the wedding space to the multi-billion dollar industry it is today. Easy peasy! Just kidding…
Back then, my idea was met with total resistance. “There’s no need, no demand, no buy-in. Not gonna happen.” The message was loud and clear:
Girl, you’re not just going to build this wedding PR business—You’re going to have to build the wedding PR industry behind it.
But I knew I could do it.
Like my dad, who landed at LAX with $40 in his pocket and no English under his belt, but catapulted himself from loyal gas station manager to unionizing leader, global brand ambassador, and representative of more than 800 locations. And my mother, who—with four kids under 4—showed me how a woman could run a premiere Beverly Hills floral studio with flower crowns in her hands and babies on her hip (and spark my early interest in the wedding industry!)
I saw firsthand how I could build unlimited pathways for dream-chasers like me with burning ambitions. I also realized that Be Inspired PR would only align with my vision if I could integrate my personal values into our business practices.
That’s why the Leila who helped raise my younger siblings in support of two entrepreneurial parents, joyfully mothers my four children while running multiple businesses, and lovingly leads my dream team

Inspired by her passion for visual design, the wedding industry, and all things love, Katie began her journey with Be Inspired PR in May 2017. Originally from Scottsdale, Arizona, Katie moved to Southern California to attend the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. Katie manages our full-time and Petite PR client accounts and puts her creative eye to use to tell their stories in a unique way.

After growing up in a small town in Virginia, Clara got her undergraduate and masters degrees in business administration from an even smaller college right in her hometown! Focused on her love for the wedding industry, she started her creative career working for a wedding planner and then decided to finally head to a big city. She moved to Los Angeles in 2018 and has been working with Be Inspired PR ever since!

She likes to use 'creative' as a noun, as she's passionate about bringing visions to life in the best and most efficient way possible. With her artistic drive and eye for aesthetic, Aubrey handles client social media account management.

After years of doing a little bit of everything, she now works on the business development side of things, putting her dynamic experience to work developing and implementing strategies for company growth. She currently lives in the Seattle area with her husband and three daughters.
